Half a century in the service of global precision work: Witte Barskamp GmbH & Co. KG. On July 1, 2019, the highly specialized German medium-sized company will celebrate its 50th anniversary - locally connected to the founding location Bleckede near Lüneburg and still co-managed by company founder Horst Witte (84).
Founded in 1969 as a production partner for high-precision components for the aerospace industry, Witte is today one of the leading international developers and manufacturers of modular clamping, positioning and measuring fixtures as well as feeder systems. With their ALUFIX modular fixturing system and the versatile vacuum clamping systems, Witte is considered the global market leader.
Almost all major companies in the automotive and aerospace industries rely on the products and application solutions from the German specialist.
Worldwide over 260 employees and more than 250 patents
Witte currently employs over 260 people worldwide. Subsidiaries and representative offices in Singapore, Mexico, USA and Brazil as well as an extensive dealer network ensure the global availability of Witte products and services.
Over the last 50 years, over 250 patents, utility models and word marks have been acquired, 70 of which are still valid today - evidence of the family-run German medium-sized company’s unbroken enthusiasm for innovation since its foundation.
Decades of experience correspond with future-oriented sustainability. This corporate attitude is reflected, among other things, in the extensive retooling options for the products as well as in the use of energy-efficient devices and recyclable materials.
